Sun Gazing Villas

We spent a lot of time just sitting on the swing with a book or a glass of wine, looking out at the sea. It’s so quiet there, and the sunsets are incredible. Sun Gazing Villas was clean and well equipped for cooking, and the houses were lovely. The hosts were really kind to us as newlyweds: they left us a bottle of very nice white wine, then brought fresh grapes on our second day. Each day while we were at the beach, they cleaned and tidied the room. It felt like a dream.

We knew before booking that getting around would mean driving, and that was the case. Still, the apartments were clean, had everything we needed, and came with a great view. The owners were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a barbecue in the yard, and the dog loved being outside. A few things could be improved: the slope up from the street felt very steep, and the garages need a gentler ramp so you can enter without scraping the bumper. The upstairs bedroom lights were too dim, with two not working at all. We also had a hard time opening the upper terrace, even after working out whether it was locked.

The stairs inside the house felt risky, especially after dark, and the roads nearby are a bit dangerous. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and nice, with a breathtaking sunset view. Having air conditioning was a real plus. The owner also gave us olive oil for free.

The owners were friendly, helpful, and discreet, and the place was clean and spacious. What really stands out is the view: you can watch clouds drift over the sea and catch amazing sunsets across the Ioanian sea. Such a perfect place to stay!
