Adonis

My two friends and I got no sleep at all. There was no air conditioning, and all night we heard the nearby nightclubs. A window in the door let hallway light into the room, and there were only two bathrooms on each floor. Don't stay here.

I left without staying, even though the man had asked for my money upfront and wouldn't return it. The room had no bathroom, so I would have had to share one with a smelly, drunk man on my floor. Hot water was only available if you called reception 30 minutes ahead, the window faced a wall, and the whole hotel smelled of cigarettes. I felt very unsafe, especially as a woman traveling alone. There were loud clubs, bars, and a Red Movie Theater close by, and the neighborhood seemed very bad. I couldn't imagine sleeping there. Don't come here if you're traveling alone as a woman.

The rooms are old, with no windows, and I could hear all the street noise. Nightclubs nearby played very loud music. It seemed to me like this hotel was meant for people looking for somewhere to have sex after a disco. A very bad place. Don't go there!

Adonis is a very cheap, low-end hostel, but the hot water is limited and the nighttime noise is the biggest drawback. It was absolutely impossible to get any sleep.
