Maria on the night shift was especially kind and helpful, even sorting out the hotel's free parking for me. There are only a limited number of spaces, though. My room was in the renovated wing and was tidy and clean, like the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good, and the price felt like good value. I stayed one night before my ferry, and the hotel is about a five-minute drive from the port. The neighborhood felt safe and pleasant. A great option in Piraeus.

We’ve already booked to stay again on our return. The breakfast is good value, and the hotel is very clean. The team made us feel welcome and were really helpful, including going out of their way to sort out parking, which is hard to find around here. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and the metro is close too. Argo Hotel works well both for catching a ferry and for exploring Athens.

The main problem was the noise from other guests. The hotel offers room service, but there were loud, apparently drunk people shouting and slamming doors, and it felt like being in a student flat. I found it hard to sleep. The room itself and the location were very good, and the price was reasonable. Fine for a night before a ferry, but the noise brought it down to three stars.

Rooms were comfortable, and breakfast costs 8 euros. The price is reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Piraeus.

I had a terrible stay. My roughly $700 watch, a clicker, laptop adapter, and small pouch bag were stolen. The rooms are cramped and very old. The two men at reception were polite and helpful, but when I reported the missing things at checkout, the woman there brushed me off and said there was no possibility they’d been stolen. I strongly advise staying elsewhere.
