Au Piree by Calon

You can find everything nearby, from shops and supermarkets to the metro, and the port is very close. The room was generally clean and had the essentials.

The noise was the deciding factor for us. Our three-year-old daughter was frightened when a deafening jackhammer started at 7:20 am, shaking the walls for two hours. The floor below was also under renovation, with cement, pipes, and other materials being moved in the elevator. The apartments are in a building being renovated. When we arrived in the middle of the night, the ground-floor lobby had no light. We messaged the manager on WhatsApp, as there is no in-person reception. He said he'd arranged with the owner of the apartment below that there would be no noise before 9:00 am. With a young child needing naps and rest, we couldn't stay. We left without a refund for the remaining night, which we'd already paid for.

Everything was quiet and spotlessly clean, with all I needed to cook. I stayed for three days in a very convenient spot by the metro and the boat. The owners were very helpful, and when I asked to check out a little later, they agreed without charging me. Thanks, I'll definitely visit again.

Good on all the things that mattered to us: price, quality, location, and communication with the staff. We recommend this place.
