Bedwave Experience Hostel

The people who own and run this hostel are so welcoming and kind. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The place itself is lovely and very clean. Definitely worth staying here.

That terrace view makes everything else fade away for a while. Sofia and George create such a warm atmosphere, and staying at Bedwave made my Athens trip all the better. I'd happily recommend it. 👌🏻🙂

I only planned to stay a few nights, but ended up being there for two weeks and even came back later. The location is handy for the port if you're catching a ferry, and the view is honestly breathtaking. The building has been renovated and was spotless. Sofia is an incredibly caring, friendly person. You can tell this place is a passion project for her, and how much of herself she's put into it. I don't know how to praise it enough. If I could, I'd give it a billion stars.

There’s a lovely beach just a five-minute walk away, plus plenty of great cafes and restaurants by the water for a date night, whether you’re on your own or with someone. I’d planned to rent a car and drive along the riviera, but the view here changed my mind. I added an extra night in Athens just to stay longer. It’s a place that makes you want to stretch out in a hammock on a sunny afternoon with a book. Travel can get so focused on going from one place to the next, and staying here gave me a chance to stop and reflect.
