Faros 2 Hotel

I was there for over two weeks and came away feeling like I was leaving a family home behind. The staff were friendly, and reception was always willing to help with anything. My room was clean, the temperature was comfortable, and there was hot water. The service and the food and drinks were excellent. I’m grateful for the hospitality and the whole experience.

The restaurant's breakfasts were delicious, and the service there was first class. The hotel is only a few steps from the port and convenience stores. I was very happy with my stay: my room was spotless, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

For the price, this is a great little hotel. It was clean and affordable, and close to the cruise ship port, which was exactly what I needed. My room was smaller than I'd expect in the USA, but this isn't the USA. It was cozy and had everything I needed. There's an authentic Greek restaurant on the corner, with indoor and outdoor seating. They also had some music while I was there.

I was having a horrible day after my husband was taken to a nearby hospital, and the hotel staff and people at the taverna made it feel a lot less awful for an hour or two. I had come over from Naxos on Saturday night and needed to find somewhere quickly. The women at Reception were so kind and helpful, and their English was perfect. I'm very grateful to them. With so many hospitals nearby, I imagine other people may find themselves in the same situation. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a good bathroom, air-con, a TV, and a fridge. The price was very good too. Piraeus is noisy, as you'd expect in a port, but this is a good place to stay for the night or before catching a ferry. The ferry gates are a five-minute walk downhill. There's also a lovely, friendly, old-style Greek taverna three doors away.
