The building felt abandoned, with peeling paint and cigarette and dirt smells everywhere. Our ferry was delayed, so we needed somewhere to rest from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. He tried to charge us 65 euros, then started bargaining, even though the price on booking was 45 euros. Better to avoid it. There are plenty of nearby places for half the price and better quality.

We had to stay because nowhere else was available. The reception man was the hotel’s saving grace, very kind and honest about the accommodation’s problems. The building is in a great location and has lovely old architecture, but inside it feels very neglected. It deserves a GoFundMe to get it repaired. The rooms made me feel like I was planning a coup in 1970s Latin America.

The man at the front desk was really kind and helpful. It’s a nice place, and I’d recommend it and definitely stay again!

The rooms smelled, and there were brown cockroaches. The man working there was very friendly, but seemed like he couldn’t care less about those problems. It’s a historic building, and the hotel interior is pretty. It’s a shame it hasn’t been renovated even a little to make it livable. There’s no AC, and I’m sorry, but it isn’t worth 50€ a night.
