The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to find us a taxi to the train station that could take our oversized paddle case after Uber turned us down. The ferry is only about a quarter to half a mile away, so the location is handy for getting on or off a ferry. I’d asked for a non-smoking room, and it was clean, with working AC and a mini fridge whose small freezer worked well. The balcony was huge, with a little steel table and a couple of chairs, just right for throwing together breakfast. The shower had hot water. I’ve seen complaints about the lack of a shower curtain or glass, but in Greece even five-star resorts often have a separate drain in the middle of the bathroom instead of an enclosed shower. If you shower like a savage, like I do, the sink, toilet, and floor will probably get wet, but that’s part of the fun of traveling!

There was a mix of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume in the room. Apart from that, it was clean and decent for the price. The reception staff were quite nice, and I’d recommend it for an overnight stop before catching a ferry.

The staff were really nice, but the rest of the stay was awful, even for one night between a late arriving ferry and an early departure. The bed was the worst part, rock hard, with springs pressing into your back when you try to rest. There was no shower curtain, glass, or holder for the handset, so taking a shower left the toilet, floor, and everything else soaked. There were lots of mosquitoes, especially in the lobby. There’s no luggage storage, though you can leave bags in the lobby, and there was only one charging outlet. The view was horrible, but that didn’t matter much. I’ve visited more than 30 countries and over 100 cities, and this was one of my worst stays. It’s bad even for a cheap hotel, and not cheap enough to justify it. After reading that the hotel calls some negative reviewers liars, I think they should focus on improving the place.

The staff were polite and friendly, and I thought it was very good value for money. The hotel is on a quiet street near a private elementary school. We got a room with a balcony and a bathroom window. There don’t seem to be twin beds, only queen-size ones. The AC and minibar worked well, and although the room hairdryer was broken, the staff would provide one if you asked. The room was clean, but the mattress and pillows were saggy and not very comfortable. You can hear noise from other rooms. There’s no shower cabin or curtain, so the bathroom gets wet.
