I’d avoid booking here. There was nobody available to give us reliable information, and the whole situation felt dangerous. We lost money and time, had to go to another hotel, and it’s too risky.

Bed bugs. I got no sleep at all. The light, Wi-Fi, and TV didn’t work. They offered a refund, but when I asked for another room without bed bugs, they said they were fully booked. This was in the morning; my sister and friend were in and out of sleep, and they were sick, so I didn’t want to disturb them. We’d checked in at 2:30 am. I looked online and saw rooms available to book, so I felt they’d lied to me. This completely ruined my vacation. I have to spend the day without sleep and with nowhere to stay until my ferry, and now I need to wash everything I brought so I don’t travel with bed bugs.

The location works well for an early ferry, and the receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. She offered to arrange a taxi for the morning, and that went smoothly. The rooms are large, but the place has the feel of a cheap warehouse conversion, with exposed chipboard everywhere. The bathroom was okay, though the peeling paint and mould need attention.

We were travelling as a family and really liked this place. It was quiet, clean, beautiful, cosy, and spacious, with friendly, polite, understanding service. There are supermarkets, cafés, a playground, and a lovely waterfront nearby. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We arrived March 12-14, 2022.
