The rooms were decent, nothing special, and the location was good. But the service was awful. Both the building entrance and room doors rely on passwords, with no key option. If something goes wrong outside service hours, 08.00-18.00, you’re on your own, and could easily end up sleeping outside. In my case, the main door was broken and the code didn’t work. I waited on the street for half an hour until another guest happened to leave and let me in. Other guests and people living nearby said this happens often. The property keeps the front door open because of it, which means there’s no security.

Save yourself the hassle and don’t book here. They were the rudest and least helpful people I dealt with on all my trips to Greece. Their messages were constantly condescending, and they kept pressuring me to complete online check-in more than two weeks ahead, sending repeated reminders while I was still weeks away and threatening to report it to the authorities. Everywhere else I stayed in Greece asked for it 48 or 24 hours ahead. It was ridiculous. They were also aggressive about the decibel meter in the room being directly linked to the police station. Just rude, unhelpful, and condescending.

The apartment itself was large, clean, well equipped, and just as described, with easy access to the port, less than a five minute walk to Gate E9. But none of that helps if you can’t get inside. We stayed one night before our ferry, and check-in was a nightmare. Two days ahead, we used the website to get a PDF with instructions and an access code, but the code was wrong. There was no after-hours number for help. We kept calling and got automated voicemail saying they’d be available during business hours the next day. We sat on the street for an hour until someone came by with a different phone number, not listed anywhere, and we finally reached a real person who gave us the right code.

It costs too much for what you get. The service felt cheap, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Check-in through the online system was a nightmare, and you also have to take out the trash and switch on the hot water yourself.
