That bed was incredible. I don't think I've ever slept so well in a hotel. I extended my stay to four days after my cruise was cancelled, though I'd originally booked just before the cruise. The hotel is right by the blue and green metro lines, so you can reach central Athens in 20 minutes for €1.20 each way. That makes it hard to justify paying twice as much in Athens. The staff were all lovely, and breakfast had a good spread. Some things, like a cappuccino or omelette, cost extra. There's a cafe next door if you don't eat much. The room was small, but fine for sleeping and showering, and there's a great choice of TV channels if you're from Germany. One drawback: the safe is tiny, enough for an iPad mini and passports, but not a laptop. I'd definitely stay again if I'm back in Athens.

Everything else about the hotel was great, and it worked really well for the night before our cruise. Getting to the port after checking out was easy. The air conditioning, though, stayed at 26 degrees all night and wouldn't cool down, so we had a very warm sleep.

After several flight delays, we arrived late and the staff were so helpful. We got a cup of tea, slept really well, then had a fantastic breakfast. Great value for money. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The front desk staff member was incredible, and we loved the little restaurant attached to the hotel. It feels a bit elegant, and breakfast there was excellent. There's also a great cafe, deli and bakery on the other side of the lobby, so there are good food options either way. The neighborhood feels a little doggy. We had a balcony and a partial sea view, though I'm not sure the extra cost is worthwhile. The balcony was too small to sit on. Our room was comfortable, with a great bed and nice bathroom, and a little larger than rooms at some nearby hotels. This place is a bit more upscale than many of them, and the price reflects that. It's right by the subway and easy to reach by bus from the airport. The hotel is across from Gate E7 and close to E8 and E9, so it's just minutes to those ferry terminals. There are lots of hotels near the port, but this one is especially convenient.

The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable I struggled to get up in the morning. The bathroom's on the small side but works perfectly. Breakfast in the attached restaurant has a good quality selection, though it isn't huge, and there should be something for everyone. The staff were friendly and ready to answer questions or share local advice. The Metro is right outside, with a direct ride to Syntagma in 20-25 minutes and to the airport in a little over an hour. The hotel is directly opposite Piraeus Railway / Metro station and the busy, famous port. I'll make it my first choice next time. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thanks, Port Square!
