Gialaki

A lovely garden with olive trees gives welcome shade on a hot summer day, and the place was perfect for relaxing. The sea is only 30 meters from the room, great for a swim early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Our host was very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Great location, highly recommended.

This is a small, pleasant hotel with its own bay and beach, a calm spot if you’re tired of people and want to spend time in nature. The beach is about 20 meters away and feels almost private. It’s lovely for swimming and looking at fish. There are basic cooking facilities, and the owner, Akis, was very nice and helpful with nearly every question. The nearest store is in the village about 600 meters away, an easy walk. Just don’t expect a five-star hotel with lots of services and entertainment. It’s a good place if you want a somewhat wild experience with direct access to nature.

Gialaki is in a beautiful part of the world, next to a lovely village that has everything you need. It’s a great place to settle in and soak up the Greek vibe. The man of the house, Akis, is a very gentle man. His ancestors have been around here for thousands of years, and you can still feel his greatness. Some say he’s descended from Alexander himself. Five out of five, I’ll visit again. Greetings to you, good man.

The setting is beautiful, tucked into an olive grove by the beach, with sunbeds, and only 500 meters from the village. The rooms are clean and spacious, each with a terrace and sea view. There’s parking in the yard, and the host is friendly but discreet. I’d return to this idyllic place anytime.
