Hotel Pyriá

The hotel is new, nice, and easy to get to, with amazing pools and really kind people. Lots of shops and restaurants are nearby, so the location is great. The rooms can be a bit noisy since you can hear the neighbours, but apart from that it's wonderful.

The hotel is immaculately clean, and the staff couldn't do more to make your stay feel perfect. It's only a year old, and the facilities and rooms are excellent. There are three pools, including one that's heated for the cooler months, plus a bar and restaurant if you don't want to leave. The village has plenty of excellent places to eat, so there's lots of choice. It isn't loud or chaotic, but has very good restaurants and lovely bars, and is still buzzing at night even in low season. I'd come back without hesitation.

I felt relaxed the whole time, whether I was having coffee in the courtyard, unwinding by the pool, or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully looked after, with a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and recharge. The staff welcomed me warmly as soon as I arrived. They were always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. Their kindness made me feel at home right away. A wonderful place for a taste of true Cretan hospitality. I'll definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at Pyriá and would stay again if we're in the area. The hotel sits in a beautiful setting, the whole place is clean and in great condition, and the staff are all great at making you feel welcome. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. At the hotel, there are three pools, plus a fourth private one. Two get sun all day, and there's a nice outdoor bar. The hotel restaurant is another good option, with a BBQ every Monday. Our only issue was the adjoining room. The door between it and the next room wasn't well soundproofed, so we could hear the neighbours and their TV. It woke us on two nights. Better soundproofing on that door would solve it. The staff checked whether we could move, but the hotel was fully booked, so we understood that it wasn't possible. Even with that problem, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Pyriá.
