The surroundings are nice and wooded, and the family studio was spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was convenient, and Koundouros beach, one of the island’s best, is only an 8-minute drive away. The cleaner, who also served breakfast, was polite and very friendly, but it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and she spoke neither Greek nor English, which made communication a real struggle. At over 170€ a night for two adults and an infant, using our own baby cot, I found it very overpriced for what we got. The breakfast was very poor and seemed cheap, as if it were just there to help justify the price. Several things were missing, including big pots, shampoo, a hair dryer, a kitchen towel, and towel hangers. Most were supplied when we asked, but we shouldn’t have needed to ask. The fridge was very old and didn’t cool well. The air-conditioning units were old too, and one remote had to operate both. One unit leaked a lot of water into the house. The owner fixed it the next day, but during the very hot days we stayed, the units still worked poorly. They should have been replaced years ago. The beds were much stiffer than average. The price would have felt fairer if the services and room amenities and quality had matched it.
