Echoes Suites Milos

The staff were warm and discreet, and seemed to anticipate requests before we even made them. Echoes Villas has beautiful design, remarkable privacy, and wonderful Aegean views. It’s a rare place that really delivers on its reputation, and makes a great base for exploring what I think is Greece’s most underrated island. We’ll definitely be back.

The quiet, intimate atmosphere made it easy to relax, and time seemed to slow down as soon as we arrived. Echoes feels both luxurious and grounding, whether you’re taking in the stillness or enjoying the space itself. The 360° panoramas reach across the Aegean, with golden sunsets and the island’s rugged beauty all around. The architecture sits naturally in the landscape, clean and refined while respecting its surroundings. Every corner felt considered, balancing comfort with good design. A hidden gem in Milos where nature, thoughtful architecture, and peace come together beautifully. Absolutely five stars.

Antonis is a real gem, a warm soul who cares deeply about his guests and takes pride in what he’s built. He shared excellent restaurant suggestions, and the three we tried were all great. We also got a look at his future expansion, which was under construction. When we left, he was there to give us big hugs. Friends recommended Echoes, and now some of our friends are already going next week. We can’t recommend it enough and hope to come back someday. Getting there made the welcome feel special from the start. Antonis met us in town and drove us out in the dark. Since it was so late, he called a local restaurant and arranged delivery, which arrived in 20 minutes and was delicious. Echoes is a secluded little paradise with an incredible view, a place to unplug. You can see how much thought went into every design choice. The photos are lovely, but seeing it in person is something else.

The booking contact was responsive and lovely, and the location is exceptional. Echoes Milos has modern Cycladic construction with simple, minimal furnishings that let the surrounding landscape take center stage. Our flight was cancelled, so when we arrived at the port at 1 a.m., the owner, Antonis, came to pick us up. That gave us a chance to talk with him. He’s an incredibly kind man who spoke with real passion about the design and how he brought the project to life. When we left, all we wanted was to come back.
