We had a great view of the bay and sea from one of our two balconies. The other faced the opposite direction and was without sun for part of the day. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We tried breakfast at the restaurant that's part of the accommodation one morning, and it was exceptional, a very generous spread for €10. We highly recommend it. There's free parking at the property, and the nearest shop and other restaurants are a few minutes away on foot. The walk to the nearest beach goes downhill, then back uphill. A car is useful for reaching the slightly nicer beaches.

Esmeralda and Manolis were such welcoming, friendly hosts, and the traditional Cretan food was wonderful. The spot has gorgeous sunsets over Souda bay, and the rooms were spotless. The pool area is beautiful, with Almyrida beach and Plaka village nearby.

The sea and mountain views are lovely, and the pool area and gardens are delightful. The small apartment hotel feels a little old fashioned, but it's spacious, very clean, and the people are friendly. Plaka is about a 10 minute walk away, though its restaurants are average. Almyrida beach is a 5 minute drive and has some great places to eat.

The setting has amazing views, with shops and tavernas nearby. We found the spacious studios comfortable and very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and understanding with young children. It's a lovely small hotel for families.

The food, view, and setting at the restaurant are lovely, and the menu is small but good. The chef is amazing. This review is about the restaurant, not the hotel. I've eaten there several times, and the service has been painfully slow nearly every time, even though the staff are friendly. Last night we were the only guests seated when we arrived, but waited over 30 minutes just to place our drink order. Getting the bill was worse: we asked three times and it took an hour to arrive, by which point only one other table was still there. They really need to fix the service.
