We’ve gone back two years in a row, and I’m already looking forward to another stay. Nikos and Marina make you feel like an old friend, and the guesthouse itself has a distinctive feel, with traditional farming tools and objects decorating every room. We spent time relaxing by the fireplace in the dining room and out on the terrace, where you can have coffee or try Marina’s cooking. Her baked feta with peppers and tomatoes is a must. For something more active, Nikos can tell you about mountain and river activities, including rafting, hiking, canyoning and horseback riding.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to Nikos, the lovely owner. It’s a small family hotel in beautiful surroundings, and the breakfast was among the best we had in Greece. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Dinner at Marina’s restaurant was delicious. The owners are friendly and glad to help with local activities, including arranging rafting trips or transportation. Each room has its own craft theme, and they’re all beautiful and clean.

The whole place has a lovely feel, with carefully chosen natural materials and a tasteful selection of handicraft tools throughout the rooms. There was even a fireplace built from stones from the river. We ended up staying a few nights instead of camping because heavy rain made a hotel seem preferable to a tent. The rooms were really nice, the hospitality was great, and we’d happily recommend the hotel.

Nikos arranged a rafting trip for us on the river, and it was great fun. He also gave us useful information about the area. We had a lovely, clean, spacious room with a balcony in this beautiful boutique hotel.
