Sea Lilies Suites

We loved our stay with our child. The accommodation was incredibly clean, with careful attention to detail, lovely bath products, and even a washing machine stocked with ecological soap. It’s right by Plaka, the best beach on Naxos. The clean balcony jacuzzi was a highlight, especially at night under the stars with a glass of wine. I’d recommend it to couples or families. Congratulations to the hostess!

Sea Lilies was a gorgeous, beautifully decorated house, and our family was comfortable there. The self-contained suite had a family-size kitchen and living room. Upstairs, the bedroom has a balcony with a stunning sea view. Plaka’s sandy beach is just across the way, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 12 nights with four adults and two toddlers. Plaka beach is right there, with beach bars, good authentic restaurants, and small markets in walking distance. Chora is about a 15-minute drive and has a busier feel; we preferred this quieter, more isolated spot. A larger supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. Marianda and her cleaners kept the place impeccable, changing the sheets and towels every day. The two-floor apartment has two bathrooms, though only one has a shower and that one is a bit small. There’s a spacious upstairs room with a great sea and sunset view from its balcony, and a downstairs veranda with a dining table. It’s well equipped, with good natural light, a large kitchen with an oven, and a washing machine. The new apartment block has a rustic touch. The grounds are still being worked on, as the hotel only opened in 2021. Marianda was a fantastic, friendly, and very helpful host. The fridge was stocked when we arrived, Nespresso pods were provided and topped up as needed, and beach chairs were available to carry down to the beach. Very useful.

We loved these beautiful suites and would give them six stars if we could. The water, just a minute’s walk away, was among the clearest we’ve seen in the Aegean. Marianna was wonderful as a host and a person. The place was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks so much from all of us!
