Villa Mousa was even better in person than in its photos, the only place I've stayed where that's been true. It was beautiful and roomy, with all the comforts we needed. Mihalis was a great host and happy to help with every request. He even drove us to the local supermarket to get groceries. I'd recommend it.

The sea views from this beautiful villa are amazing, and our host was so welcoming and accommodating that the stay was really memorable. Getting around without transport is tough, though. The villa sits on an extremely steep hill, which makes walking up and down difficult.

The steep drive is something to be prepared for. It's manageable, but it could feel intimidating. Still, I'd book this villa every time I visit Naxos. It's a lovely place high on a hill, looking out over the island, with a view I don't think could be beaten. Everything feels gorgeous and picturesque, and I'd live there if I could. Mike was phenomenal, so friendly and ready to help with anything that would make our stay better. My favorite part was the two cats, Blackie and Gray. In early spring it was a little chilly, so we'd sit by the pool each night with wine and a blanket while the cats curled up with us and purred. I almost want to keep the place a secret, but Mike deserves to have it booked 24/7.

The villa is in Orkos, around 15-20 minutes by car from Chora, and the view is simply stunning. We stayed for more than a week, and our room had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mike welcomed us with organic vegetables from his garden and some olive oil. His tips for places to see and local restaurants came in very handy. If you're after a romantic spot with a great view over Naxos island, this is it.
