I turned up without booking, and Stravos happened to have a room free. I loved the balcony in the mornings and how quiet it was. The room was perfect, the location was great, and it felt like home for the three days I stayed. I'd highly recommend it to other solo travelers!

We had a great four days in Plakias, staying at Emilia Apartments. The accommodation is simple and the location is quiet, and coming back after a day at the beach, walking, eating, or whatever felt like coming home, with the door open to welcome us. Stavros is the heart and soul of the place. It was such a pleasure to chat with him about Plakias, Greece, history, and all sorts of things. Hearty breakfast, too.

The setting was peaceful, and the room was clean and spacious. Stavros is an excellent host, and breakfast was very good. The beach and restaurants are only three minutes away.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms were nice and clean. The beach is close, but far enough away that you can relax undisturbed on the room terrace.
