Villa Alkisti & Villa Artemi

We had another amazing five-week workation here, thanks in no small part to Filipos, who's an amazing host. The villa is spacious and well maintained, close to the beach, and everything you need is within walking distance. I can't recommend these villas enough.

We liked the Plakias area, especially in May, when it was laid back, full of spring flowers and beautiful cliffs and caves, and not too busy with tourists. Filippos was a great host and gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit and eat. Both Villa Alkisti and Villa Artemis are beautiful and spacious, with lovely terraces and swimming pools. We enjoyed Villa Alkisti and Villa Artemis so much that we returned after our first stay in Villa Artemis. We highly recommend this place.

Filippos is a lovely, helpful host who gives good advice on where to go. He also arranged a guide for our trip to mount ida. Villa Artemis is a beautiful, clean house in a perfect spot in plakias. We've stayed twice and will definitely come back.

We spent two weeks in Villa Alkisti for a family holiday with our grown-up kids, getting away from the Australian winter. Filippos, the owner and host, is about the best host you could find: attentive, generous, and full of lifelong local knowledge that he uses to help with whatever you need or want to do. He speaks English, German, and Greek, of course. The villa is even better than the pictures and has everything needed for a comfortable modern holiday. It's set just back from Plakias's main public area, but grocery stores, shops, tavernas, bars, and cafes are all within a two-to-five-minute walk, or less. A couple of good beaches are just as close, with many more a ten-to-twenty-minute drive away. Plakias is a great town for Greek food, fresh produce, and classic Greek beachside bars and eateries. We'd absolutely stay here again, and for longer!
