Damnoni was our favorite beach 🤩, and it’s only about a 7-minute drive from the villa. Plakias and other beaches are just as close, so it made a handy base for exploring the south of the island or heading to Rethymnon for shopping. You’ll need a rental car. The villa is beautifully kept and very clean, with the pool cleaned regularly and fresh linens and towels. Stella was a lovely host and easy to reach on WhatsApp. Message her before your visit for good tips on beaches, tavernas, and more. Efcharisto poli, we’ll be back!

A great spot to switch off and relax, especially if you’re after somewhere peaceful and secluded.
