Panos Beach Hotel

For a two-star place, Panos Beach Hotel is right at the top end. It has what you need for a comfortable, clean stay at a low price. The hosts, pappa Panos, mama Arieta and their adult son Nikos, were wonderful, and the beautiful ocean is just 20 steps from the room. The balcony also looks out over the water. The room has a table, two chairs, a vanity table, and a little tea kitchen with a small fridge, sink, two hot rings, frying pan, casserole, cutlery, cups, and glasses. The beds are comfortable, with very thick, soft pillows. The bedding is Greek style, a sheet and a thick, warm cotton blanket. The shower is very small, freestanding in a corner behind a curtain, and could feel claustrophobic if you're heavy-set. Mosquitoes are the one unfortunate part, though even five-star hotels can't avoid them. Bring what you need to prevent bites and treat them. This hotel and its lovely hosts were the best part of my vacation.

It's a lovely little hotel right on the beach, with a beautiful view and a perfect location. It isn't luxurious, but it's clean and peaceful, and the owners and staff are very polite. When we had trouble with our rental car agency, they tried to help us. We'd highly recommend it.

We spent the day at the beach here and really enjoyed the tasty food at the bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive all day. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost €6 for the day, but they don't charge you for them if you have lunch there. Really recommend this place.

The room was clean and simple, with good service, and that's all you need. There's a beautiful beach just 30 meters away and a great restaurant right by it. I'd happily come back to this fantastic place again and again.
