You'll need a car here. There isn't a beach or restaurant within walking distance, though driving around the island turned out to be one of the nicest drives of my life. If you like avoiding crowds and want a Greek escape with amazing views, this place might suit you. The rooms are modern: five downstairs without private pools, and they aren't very spacious; two upstairs have lovely infinity pools, but cost extra. The open-plan rooms are nice, though the shower sprays everywhere and leaves parts of the room damp. The TVs in the larger upstairs rooms are too small to watch comfortably from bed. TV isn't a must on a summer holiday anyway. Breakfast is limited and feels stingy. It's delivered to each room, so you can and have to eat on the balcony. That was cool at first, but the last few mornings felt like a drill: a knock, “Hello, hello,” the tray, “Have a nice day,” and goodbye. For this price range I'd expect better. You get coffee, pasteurized orange juice, basic cold cuts, bread, granola and honey. Omelets and fresh juice cost extra, with an omelet priced at 8-12 EUR. Room service is there, but not amazing. They clean regularly and rarely restock things, especially toilet paper. I also really missed having a door hanger for “do not disturb” or something like that. Still worth recommending, particularly for the rooms with private pools, which were an amazing experience.

The private pool was clean and amazing, and we had a lot of fun staying in that room. The staff were lovely and helpful with every request. The room itself was modern, well built and very clean. The view of the beach from the location was beautiful. My wife and I had a great time at Escape Suits for e days. Breakfast was very good too. Highly recommend.

The suites were top-notch, spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location. Dimtriya was great and kept checking that we had everything we needed. The owner, Kostas, is the man. He gave us perfect recommendations and let us check out late without any trouble. We'll definitely be back.

The pool was outstanding, with a view across the sea to Zakynthos island. The rooms are lovely, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's a stunning place to stay in Kefalonia if you want a few days to chill out and relax. I'd definitely recommend having a car if you plan to explore.

The setting was a real highlight, especially the walk down to the private beach at sunset. The pool is spotless and faces the sea, with Zakinthos across the water. It was easy to reach Sami and the small villages along the south coast, and I also got up to the foothills of Mt Ainos for a great ridge hike to the summit. You’ll want a hire vehicle for getting around, ideally a motorbike, though a car works too. The airport drive took about 30 minutes when I avoided the wrong roads. My room was modern and clean, with a full glass sliding door facing the sea and opening onto a private balcony. It was peaceful day and night. The hosts offered room service at very good prices, and the minibar was standard price. I had breakfast and meals delivered, and they were really tasty. One of my favourite hotel stays in a long time.
