The room had a lovely view and a classic look, with a white domed ceiling. The verandahs are nice to paint from. Our hostess was kind and smart, and made cake, coffee, and breakfast for us every morning. Using the washing machine was free and easy, we just hung the laundry out ourselves. It’s a bit of a trek up the hill, though that’s standard for Santorini. Loved our stay.

The calm atmosphere during the week was great for unwinding, and every room has a nice balcony where you can sit with a drink at night, watch the stars, or enjoy the breeze. Weekends can be a bit louder with groups of teenagers or young travellers, though it usually isn’t too disruptive and still feels laid-back. Pelagos Studios is a practical, good-value place to stay close to the beach, just a two-minute walk for a morning visit or sunset. The rooms are clean and functional but a little outdated. There are updated units for a small extra cost, which seems worth it for a longer stay or if you’d like a fresher space. A small supermarket by the entrance is surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced, handy for drinks, snacks, or groceries. It isn’t a luxury resort, but it’s a comfortable base with easy beach access and a friendly feel. We’d definitely return.

Family run and really well kept. The staff were kind and helpful, and we found the pool menu spot on with fair prices. A 100% recommendation for Mykonos.

We found the pool lovely, clean, and pleasantly warm, and the bar prices were reasonable. The hotel is a minute from a beautiful beach, though there isn't much space to sunbathe unless you rent a lounger. We preferred Psarou, the next beach along, since it had much more room. Google Maps showed a 20-minute walk, but there's a shortcut to the left on the way that took us about 6-7 minutes from the hotel. The bus stop is around five minutes away, with convenient €2 single fares. Our basic room felt dated, and the shower was small for a longer stay. We can't speak for the other room types. Staff could have been friendlier. Beach towels are available with a €20 deposit, and there's a late-opening shop below the hotel with lots of choice, though like much in Mykonos, it's expensive.

The beach is just a minute away, and we were surprised by how large the pool was compared with the others we saw nearby. There's also a mini market at reception, and vehicle rentals close by. The welcome was lovely: the staff showed us around, explained how to get about, and kindly upgraded us to a larger room even though we hadn't asked. Our room was great, with a handy kitchenette, and it was cleaned every day. We did have bugs and lizards getting inside, so keep the windows shut and the AC on; they can provide an extra key card for the power. For a two-star hotel, it deserves more recognition. 10/10, worth every penny and fully recommended.
