Milos Breeze Boutique Hotel

The views, food, and service were incredible, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I stayed at Milos Breeze Boutique for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better place in Milos. It’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.

Room 25 felt like an incredible private retreat, set high above town with the best view in Milos. It was very secluded, with a large room, a private pool, a steam room, random treats in the room, and amazing service. One of the best stays I've had. My only gripe was the poor gym and equipment.

The hotel's location is a 5/5, and the views are gorgeous. That's about the best I can say, though. My wife and I booked two nights and found the experience lacking overall. We mistakenly chose what the hotel calls a "flexi" rate. It means they assign you whatever room is available and can move you during your stay, even every morning. That was annoying, though we could probably blame our booking service and we put up with it. But other reviews mention this happening, and manager Michalis has even replied to them, so the hotel seems to know it occurs without doing anything to keep future guests from making the same mistake. The rooms are nice, but clearly show some age. Our towels smelled like damp laundry, and there was a cleaning rag on the floor when we arrived. Room service has very few choices, and they weren't willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. We asked for tomatoes instead of carrots in the "burrata with carrots" and were told it couldn't be done. I'm not sure why. These are small things another hotel could easily sort out. It feels like Milos Breeze hasn't needed to go above and beyond because there is little to no competition. The negatives in other reviews were mostly accurate, even though there aren't many negative reviews. We strongly suspect the hotel makes offers to reviewers afterward to get them to change or remove negative reviews. The employees themselves are great and clearly want guests to have a good experience, but they seem to lack the freedom to make meaningful decisions. I felt bad leaving a negative review because most of the staff seem great. To me, management is what needs to change.

The hotel is lovely and beautiful, much better than its website makes it look. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room, gave us wine, and helped with everything we needed, including recommendations and arranging delivery and pickup of our rental car. Mr Vasilis, Maria, Alexandra, and our Spanish-speaking Albanian friend made the stay perfect. Pollonia, a cute place with its own relaxed beach, is a 10-minute walk away. Many of Milos' most beautiful beaches, including Sarakiniko and Plathiena, are 15-20 minutes away.
