Villa Mary Elen

Friendly people, a lovely place, and a great view, especially for such a good price. I contacted the staff to ask about getting there from the port by bus or taxi if we didn't rent a vehicle. Two days later, the owner got in touch out of the blue, said he had business at the port, and offered us a ride. He even showed me around a bit and shared his own suggestions about what to see and where to go. The only small downside was the plumbing system connecting the hot water between rooms, which affected when we could get hot water.

Lovely ocean view from the balcony, with restaurants across the road and bars close by. The place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, with smooth linen and a mattress topper. I think it may have been queen size.

We loved how close the beach and tavernas were, and the hosts were wonderful, kind, and helpful. The place is in a stunning location with beautiful sunsets. Our spacious room was immaculate and nicely decorated, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I'd recommend staying here.

The place has a nice view and a good location, and it was very, very clean thanks to Mrs Stefania. But the building feels old, with old furniture and an old bath. There was no privacy on the balcony. The owner was rude and impolite, which was the worst part.
