Hotel Astro

They took my bicycle inside and clearly cared about keeping it safe, which I appreciated as a cycling tourist. The owner was lovely, the air conditioning worked brilliantly, and the water was warm. Wi-Fi was good too. It’s mostly quiet, though you can hear noise carry, so light sleepers might have trouble. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Really nice place, I’d definitely stay here again.

We arrived late, and the host sent a quick video showing how to open the little lock with our room key, along with a short explanation of where to go. We really appreciated that. Such good value for the money.

The host was very polite and easy to communicate with, and there’s safe parking right next to the hotel. The room was clean and very nice. Definitely worth stopping for the night. I recommend it.

The owners and staff are right next door, and they were very nice and helpful. Someone’s clearly trying to give the place a contemporary look, and that’s a good thing. The problem is the size: a 20-square-metre room is too small for four people, and the bathroom is so cramped there’s no proper shower. When you shower, water gets all over the bathroom, and you can’t get out dry, so the whole little space quickly becomes a mess. For the room size and location, it also felt a bit overpriced. Still, I don’t want to be completely negative. They’re making an effort to make the place pleasant, and it’s not bad for an overnight stop while driving.
