The grill restaurant has unlimited gyros kebabs, which is quite a situation. Unlimited. There’s a lot on offer here: eight pools, three restaurants, two bars, a beach, live music, sports, a kids club, and water slides. But the place wouldn’t be the same without the staff. They’re always smiling at you and your children, and the local Greek team brings a level of hospitality that makes the all inclusive stay feel special. Magnificent people.

Our children were happy the whole week, with plenty to do and dedicated pools for them. The food had enough variety and was good quality, too. We were pleased with our family stay at Blue Lagoon Princess Resort. It’s clean, spacious, and well looked after, and the airy rooms and shared areas never felt crowded. The pool and pool bar shut at 6:00 pm, which felt early when other resorts often stay open until around 7:00. Some fitness and activity sessions also overlap with meal times, so joining in means missing lunch or dinner if you keep to the main dining schedule. It seemed TUI arranged the entertainment and activities without coordinating with the hotel, and the daily programme didn’t feel cohesive. Even with those issues, we had a great holiday and would recommend the resort to families looking for a comfortable, clean place with good food and child-friendly facilities.

Really lovely, very clean hotel, and the staff were amazing. The only downside was the all inclusive food. In Greece I expected more Greek themed dishes, but it was a fairly generic buffet.

The worst part came just before the candlelight dinner included in our package. Staff asked us to settle a balance 20 minutes beforehand. We’d planned to pay at checkout, but agreed. The amount they gave us was wrong, and after 40 minutes of waiting while we questioned it, we were too frustrated to stay for dinner and went elsewhere to eat. We married here on May 15, 2026, and the day fell far short of what we’d hoped for. We had booked the Bronze Wedding Package, with a beach ceremony and Taverna reception. Weeks beforehand, we sent detailed photos, diagrams, timelines, and instructions electronically, then brought paper copies when we arrived. The onsite coordinator, Maggie, was not Franziska, the person we’d been emailing for over a year, or Fotini, the previous coordinator many people loved. Even getting a new room key meant being told to wait 25 minutes outside with our things. When I gave Maggie our room number as I left for an excursion, she kept pushing for a meeting on the beach right then and seemed annoyed that I was busy. After 10 pm she emailed asking me to confirm details I’d already confirmed and to meet at 10:45 am on our wedding day. On arrival, she was busy and kept me waiting 30 minutes, then asked for another meeting at 1 pm, despite my hair appointment being at 1:30. The hairdresser didn’t speak English and had no experience with clip-in extensions. She tried to pin them to my head with bobby pins, then used some kind of powdered glue that ripped my hair. Maggie knew we wanted to say our own vows, but never gave us time during the ceremony. That was extremely disappointing because it mattered a lot to us. She also kept interrupting to ask when the speeches, toasts, and cake cutting were meant to happen, even though those details were in the documents and had been discussed. The cake didn’t resemble the decoration and inspiration photos we’d provided. After we cut it, we never got a price, and most guests didn’t either, even though our contract said it would be cut and served at dinner. Back in our room, the leftover cake was uncovered on a large plate on the coffee table, too big for either the mini fridge or the trashcan. The couples massage included in the package lasted only 30 minutes instead of 75, and wasn’t really a massage. We asked for firm pressure but were told it would be light only.
