Melina and her family run this lovely hotel in Chalkidiki, and Melina is at its heart. She’s warm, welcoming and attentive. The old building has been beautifully restored, with lots of charm and character. My stylish, comfortable room had a boutique feel and lovely little details, including an old piano that adds to the atmosphere. I especially appreciated having a delicious vegan breakfast made for me each morning. Melina also looks after the little cats in the area, which are very sweet, and that kindness says a lot about the place. My stay felt personal and full of heart. Melina Hotel is unique and super nice, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chalkidiki. I’m definitely coming back!

The people running this small hotel were so kind. They helped me book a taxi and find my way around town. The room was among the cleanest I’ve ever seen, looked as if it had been renovated yesterday, and had great amenities. It’s in a wonderful spot in Polygyros. Highly recommend!

The hotel is small and beautiful, and the family welcomed me with open arms. I can’t say enough about them. I had to extend my stay in Greece after my husband fell ill and ended up in Polygyros hospital, so I moved from my original apartments to the MELINA Hotel. It turned out to be a lucky day. While I was struggling to cope with everything, the family were wonderful. They drove me to the hospital, then, once my husband was discharged, searched around for the special food he could eat.

Everything feels high quality, from the comfortable beds to the rooms, which are both practical and tasteful. Melina Hotel is wonderful, spotless and new. The one thing I missed was having a kettle in the room, or some way to buy coffee or tea at reception.

An old, beautiful building, renovated recently. The rooms were clean, and the interior looked stylish, with thoughtful details and nothing overdone. A really good experience.
