Dimitra Boutique Hotel

Zoe and Katerina made us feel very welcome, and the service was excellent. The room was clean and well equipped, with a modern bathroom. It’s in a great spot, and the terrace has a panoramic view of the island while you enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a relaxing start to the day, with lovely port views. There was a good range of fresh food, including pastries, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, fresh orange juice, lemon water and coffee, as well as a limited cooked selection. In the evenings, a different family ran the terrace as a bar. Michael, Evi and Dimitri were wonderfully hospitable, and served food you could enjoy while watching the sunset. We stayed five nights in a spacious triple room. It had a comfortable king size Greek four poster bed, a sofa bed and two doors opening onto a long, narrow balcony. The windows at either end looked out over Greek architecture, with a sea view from beside the bed and the town and clock tower visible from above the sofa. Storage was limited, though we had overpacked. The hotel and staff have a lot of Greek charm, and our room was very clean and well looked after. The staff were fantastic about accommodating our requests and always greeted us with a smile. A shout out to the receptionist, who I think was called Zoe, and the cleaner, who I think was called Louisa. They work so hard. The hotel is tucked into the charming backstreets of Poros but is well placed for nearby amenities. Keep in mind that getting there involves climbing a number of old Greek steps, which could be difficult for people with disabilities. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

We were very impressed by dinner on the rooftop. The beef in mushroom sauce was especially tasty, and the baklava was out of this world. We also went up there each evening for a drink and enjoyed the beautiful sunset views. Breakfast was included and offered a wide choice, from continental to fully cooked, with fresh orange juice, pastries, fruit and Greek yoghurt. The hotel is just off the main port and dining strip, in a handy location. Our room was generous in size, in good condition and immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. We highly recommend both staying and dining here.

The staff's hospitality and kindness made our time there really special. The location is amazing, and the rooms are very clean. There's a roof garden for breakfast that turns into a bar at night. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
