Kalypso

The room was simple but had what we needed, including good air conditioning, a mosquito net, and a good shower. The view was lovely and relaxing, especially with the sound of the waves. The location worked really well, with lots of restaurants nearby and a few supermarkets where we could pick things up for the fridge. We stayed for 10 days, and the owner was kind enough to offer us a toastie when our delayed flight got us to the hotel at 1:30 in the morning and we were hungry. When we wanted to hire a car, the owner called around right away and had one ready for the next morning. Everyone was welcoming, and I’d recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

We feel lucky to have found Kaylpso and will certainly return. The location is superb, with warm swimming water across the road, a lovely pool next door, and loungers for hire just a short walk away. There are plenty of places to eat on warm evenings, plus several cocktail bars. We booked two rooms for our family of four, including two teenagers, and both were spotless, airy, and fresh. The air conditioning was excellent, and mosquito nets were fitted at the balcony doors and every window. Rooms were cleaned while we were having breakfast, which was generous and served in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so helpful, even greeting us with a smile when our flight delay meant arriving at 1am. Thanks to everyone at Kaylpso.

The hosts were a 10, always smiling and really nice. They found us a rental car very quickly, too. We had a lovely time at Kalypso and would definitely recommend it. The hotel’s in a great spot, with a beautiful clear-water beach just across the road, and sunbeds on the left side. There are plenty of tavernas nearby, just a short walk away. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a good view of the sunrise. Breakfast was very good as well.

We had a very quiet holiday at this small family hotel. The room was cleaned every day and had a fridge, a small TV, and a balcony on the first floor. There’s air conditioning for 5 euro per day. It has a nice sea view, and the English breakfast was good. Sunbeds are available about 200 m away for 8 euro per set. There’s also a pool next to the hotel, but it belongs to the Paradise restaurant.
