The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and even though the male host doesn’t speak English, he was always smiling and friendly. The beach is less than a five minute walk away, calm, and the water is clean. At hotel Michaela, the rooms were clean, and there’s a lovely outdoor area with vintage vespas and a swing facing the sea. A nice, relaxing stay.

We had a plentiful, tasty breakfast with good coffee, and the hotel facilities and apartments were excellent. Hotel Michaela is in a great spot by the sea, and our large, comfortable apartment was clean, with lovely modern decor. The owners and staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. They gave us all the information we needed to choose the room that suited our preferences. The service was excellent, and I’d happily recommend the hotel and choose it again this summer.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We cancelled shortly after arriving because the room fell well below our expectations. The location is good, but what we found didn’t match the pictures online. There was mold in the bathroom and the fridge was old and dirty inside. The balcony was only 1,8m high, so you couldn’t stand straight, and an air conditioning unit from another room sat right above the chair. The TV might have been great 40 years ago, but it’s not worth watching now. The room was so cramped that the bed stopped the balcony door from opening all the way.

We really enjoyed our week here. The rooms were clean, the sea-view location was perfect, and there were plenty of restaurants, bars, and a supermarket close by. The owners were beyond what we expected, so helpful and accommodating throughout the week. I wouldn’t put much stock in the negative reviews.
