Neorio Bay

It was handy being near the beaches, but the hotel is quite a way from the center. The building and furnishings are very old, and the rooms, sheets, and curtains weren't especially clean. For what it cost, I didn't feel the hotel offered good value.

The beach is only a couple of steps away, and the center is about a kilometer from the hotel, with other island beaches nearby. Service was friendly and cleanliness was satisfactory, but the room itself had a lot of problems. The mattress was in terrible shape, the pillows were poor, and the double bed we paid for was actually a small double, about 1.80 m long at most. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent, so we could hear the people next door as if they were in our room. The locks were so awkward that getting in felt like swallowing swords. The air conditioners had been tampered with and didn't work, and adjusting the shower took force, leaving us with either hot or cold water. The TV was outdated, the electrical appliances need replacing, and there wasn't even a hairdryer. At 30 euros a night it might have been fine, but 50 is too much.

The room wasn't worth what we paid. The building is very old, cleanliness ranged from average to worse, and it was missing basic things you'd expect in a room. The beach across the street was the one good point. I wouldn't say the place is worth the price.

The beach is just across the road, and breakfast had a good range of tasty options. Our room was very clean and the price was really good. The woman at reception was kind and helpful. My only gripe was that the bed felt a bit small.
