The view was the only good part. This felt nowhere near a 4 star hotel. The rooms were small and shabby, and there was barely enough space to shower without getting the sink and toilet wet, since there was no way to close off the shower. Reception staff were unpleasant and wouldn’t give us even 2 extra towels. They didn’t replace the sheets when they cleaned the room, and they didn’t leave water bottles each day, even though the island’s water isn’t for drinking. A very bad hotel experience.

We regretted booking almost as soon as we arrived. Before we’d spent even one night, the staff’s attitude had us wanting to check out. At 11:02, they wouldn’t serve the breakfast we’d paid for, then charged us for two coffees, even though we hadn’t eaten anything. It felt petty and insulting. The staff were shockingly rude and showed no basic hospitality or common sense. For the price of this hotel, that treatment is unacceptable and left us feeling cheated. It made us dread the rest of the stay. There are plenty of hotels in Greece that understand hospitality. I’d avoid this one.

It felt petty, money-grabbing and deeply disrespectful, as if the staff cared about squeezing every cent from guests instead of offering basic hospitality. That set the mood for a miserable stay and left us wishing we hadn’t booked. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. If you want decent treatment and basic respect, stay somewhere else.

*** HONEST REVIEW PROTECT YOUR FAMILY HEALTH*** I usually leave good reviews, but this place is a piece of art. We got two small bottles of water when we arrived, and that was all. You have to buy water from the restaurant, and it’s not cheap. We needed at least four large bottles a day, but the restaurant closes at night. There’s nothing nearby, either. During heatwaves, you’d have to take a boat taxi in the morning to the city center for food, water and supplies. It’s hard to relax, sunbathe, swim or enjoy yourself. I spoke to the receptionist, then a man who acted like a manager jumped in. His name was Iftikhar. He cold-heartedly said, “it’s a business! So what! It’s just a tiny baby. Why the baby is drinking too much milk anyway!” while giving psycho looks. He seemed like someone who holds grudges. I’m not cheap and can pay for water, but it felt like a scam. I don’t know who cuts off water for making milk for babies just to earn extra money. The balcony rails have a big gap and are dangerous for children, so this is NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES. Four stars is much overrated. I pray it goes bankrupt because of the inhumanity. If you’re fine being locked up, dehydrated and drunk on a very nice view, and can process sea water, old food and dealing with horrible heartless staff, this is the place to go!
