The little creek at Ampela and the clear water are just a few steps away, with a stunning view over the spot. Angeliki and her mother keep the place beautiful and spotless, and they’re so welcoming. They’re also happy to point you toward Syros’s gems for places to see and eat.

We reached Syros by ferry from Mykonos after flying direct from Cyprus. The crossing from Mykonos port took just an hour and cost €15 per person. Staying at Elefthia luxury suite was the most memorable part of our Cyclades trip: the sea view was unforgettable, and the place was the cleanest and most luxurious we’ve ever stayed in. Our hosts were so friendly, suggested lots of great places around Syros, and served us a Greek traditional breakfast we won’t forget. We’d definitely return, and recommend it to anyone wanting to experience one of the Cyclades’ most beautiful islands.

The direct sea view from our terrace was fantastic, and we loved the breakfast delivered to our room every day. Thanks to Angeliki’s mom for that. Daniela, the maid, was an absolute sunshine, always cleaning everything and greeting us with a smile. We booked the luxury suite for a month and were more than satisfied with the location, service, cleanliness, and especially the hospitality from Angeliki and her family. They were attentive and friendly throughout. We felt at home and will definitely be back.
