The location is lovely, just a couple of minutes from the beach, with nice views of the sea. This charming little hotel has character, and the area is pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower wasn’t designed very practically, so water splashed everywhere, and the room could have been cleaner. We also spotted ants in the room and a cockroach one day. A bit more attention to cleanliness would make it a wonderful stay.

The homemade feel made the stay easy and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the simple, delicious breakfast. Hotel Maria is a cute, cozy, no-fuss place that’s great for a budget trip. What makes Hotel Maria Possidi special is the people running it. Their warmth, kindness and care for every guest, especially families who return, are rare. Our family has stayed here for many years, and each visit feels more like coming home than going on holiday. Right in the heart of Possidi, this charming little hotel holds so many happy memories, laughs and moments of true Greek hospitality. In a world that changes so quickly, it’s a gift to have somewhere so welcoming, steady and full of heart. We’re grateful for all the joy it’s brought our family and friends, and look forward to many more summers here.

After about 20 years in the US, coming back to Greece, I couldn’t have picked a better place to feel at home again. Hotel Maria is amazing! Maria and Nikos were so pleasant, helped with everything we asked for, and were always available to make our stay special. Our room had an awesome sea view, and the beach was only a few minutes’ walk away. Everything was clean and the amenities were up to date. I definitely recommend it, and only wish we could have stayed longer!!!
