Atrium Hotel Thassos

The helpful staff were always smiling, and the pool was clean and inviting. The rooms were well equipped and cleaned regularly. It’s a lovely spot near a nice beach, with beautiful nature around, whether you’re travelling with family, friends, or on your own. We had a memorable stay and were treated very warmly. A few of the younger, less experienced staff had some difficulty with the language, but that should improve with time. Thank you all!

The staff were very friendly, and the beach was great, with shallow water that works for children. The room was cleaned every day, and breakfast was good. We also ate tasty food at the à la carte restaurant; prices seemed average, not needlessly inflated. One downside was the loud Romanian guests shouting at their children between 2 and 4 p.m. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault. On the beach, some of them smoked near us throughout the day, leaving us breathing their cigarette smoke even though my wife was pregnant, and they didn’t seem to care. I’d still highly recommend the place.

The pizza was amazing, and the location, beach, and pool were all good. We spent nine days here with family, but unfortunately I wouldn’t return. The rooms felt three-star at best. The shower didn’t work properly, the poorly sealed shower cabin let water onto the bathroom floor, and there was a horrible sewer smell. Service was frustrating because the setup and procedures were poorly organized, not because of the waiters themselves. Just one person took drink orders on the beach, so drinks took at least 20 minutes even though she worked nonstop. They clearly needed another person, which could have brought the hotel twice the revenue, and I don’t understand why they didn’t add one. Food was average, expensive, and slow to arrive. Whenever the waiter came by, almost everyone at the table needed something, which showed how poorly organized things were.

The superior family maisonette was clean and spacious, and the location was very good. The staff were friendly, the beach and sea were excellent, and breakfast was very good too. My only complaint is that the restaurant could offer more food choices. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Thank you, and I hope to come back.
