Anamar Skiathos Hotel

We left Punta today and already can't wait to come back. The private beach is a little corner of paradise, and the pool is fantastic too. The pool bar is lovely and well equipped, with very good dishes and cocktails. The view is breathtaking, and with a rented scooter, the location worked perfectly for us. We felt at home throughout. Reception was attentive, organized, and welcoming, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were always kind and helpful. One evening, our scooter's brakes failed on a very steep descent, so we arrived after dinner service. They understood our situation, still let us eat, and checked that we were all right. We had a really great time.

The beach is a special spot where you can watch planes landing all day, and the hotel has a beautiful private beach and stunning views. A special thank you to the wonderful woman at reception. She was patient, kind, and helpful, and arranged some trips for us. She made the stay unforgettable. It's a place where you and your family will feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

I'm a tour leader, and this was the second time I'd booked this hotel for my group. We always have such a great experience, so there'll definitely be a third visit. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, cleanliness is good, and the pool and relaxation area are fantastic. Reception staff are very kind and always willing to help.

The tourist tax is €10 per day, the maximum they can charge, despite the hotel falling well short. Don’t expect a four-star hotel; it’s a three-star place. Pros: The staff were friendly and came outside to say goodbye. There’s a free shuttle into town, though it isn’t flexible and has limited seats. The views of the town center are amazing, and we got two free welcome drinks. You can walk into town without paying for a taxi unless you’re elderly. Cons: Staff wear no uniforms or name badges, and there’s only one key per room. The sunbeds are cheap and uncomfortable. There’s no free water at dinner, despite there being some at breakfast, which feels greedy. There’s no elevator. They charge the maximum tourist tax while providing the bare minimum, which also feels greedy. There’s no luggage room, so bags are left randomly around the entrance. The food is just okay, and the pool needs cleaning. With all those drawbacks, how can this be a four-star hotel?
