The shower drain backed up and flooded the villa, and the staff didn’t respond or help. Earlier, I tripped in the yard on an unmarked safety hazard and was seriously hurt. I needed surgical medical treatment, which ruined the vacation. Nobody from the staff checked on me, offered help, or apologized. The whole stay was disastrous and disappointing, with no sense of responsibility. We’ll never come back.

The terrace and pool looked much larger and better equipped in the hotel’s online advertising than what we found in person, which took away from the stay. Service was also a problem. Staff ignored some requests or brushed them off, and getting timely room service was difficult. Parts of the room didn’t seem clean to the standard I’d expect from a premium property. The breakfast situation wasn’t clearly explained. I know it may not have been included, but from the way the hotel is presented I expected at least coffee or a basic option. Clearer information would help avoid that expectation. I was also concerned by the defensive way management responded to other guests’ feedback that I later saw. Guests should be heard and their concerns treated seriously, not ridiculed. For the amount of money spent, I wouldn’t recommend Sersi Hotel in Paros unless the owner makes changes.

The pool was kept clean and well maintained, and the service was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very clean too. A great resort for a relaxing, comfortable vacation.

The bathroom stayed wet, and the thin walls were a real nuisance. Even though we were careful in the shower, the bathroom setup wasn’t practical, and housekeeping was below average. Service felt unfriendly from the start, and we didn’t feel welcome. We also noticed what seemed like an ignorant attitude toward foreigners. During our five-day stay, our concerns were ignored and promises weren’t kept. The manager only replied, with quite an attitude, after we posted a negative review. Based on this, we can’t recommend the accommodation if you want to enjoy the island and feel welcome. The manager’s replies to Google comments give you an idea of how clients are treated.
