Kalamitsi Beach Camping Village

The peaceful schedule at the pool, open from 8:00 to 13:00 and then 16:00 to 20:00, was nice, and there are lots of shady spots for hot days. A lovely reed tunnel leads to a beautiful wild beach just 2-3 minutes away on foot, a real hidden gem. We really enjoyed the campsite and would gladly return. The toilets and showers are a little old and worn, but spotlessly clean. One awkward detail is that chemical toilets have to be emptied in the first cubicle of the men's restroom. There's also no dedicated place to dispose of grey water. Still, it's a beautiful, quiet place, especially suited to families with children or anyone after a peaceful break.

The owners are very nice, and the campsite is only 100 meters from a beautiful beach. For one camper and two people, we paid 22.50 eur. There are washers, drinking water, a pool, and a huge sanitation area, with more toilets and showers than I've seen at a campsite this size. It's clean, too. I can't believe the place is rated 3.7 right now. It deserves a 5 out of 5!

If you're after a quiet, secluded place with lots of shade and room, this is a good fit. The wild beach is around 60m from the campsite, with shallow water that's great for little kids. The owners were welcoming and nice, and the swimming pool was great. Don't come expecting fancy bars or beaches.

The natural, unspoilt beach has calm, shallow water that worked perfectly for the small kids, and they loved the clean pool too. Donatella and Martha were so nice and welcoming. There's a restaurant open for lunch and dinner, with a short menu, and everything we tried was tasty. All was perfect. We'd definitely come back!
