Studio Nikos

A beautiful spot that seems especially suited to a couple’s holiday. Our room was about 50 meters from the beach, and the restaurant and bar were very nice, with waiters who were always cheerful. At 64, I did find the bar music a bit much, but who cares? 🥰

We found Studios Nikos a great choice for a relaxing holiday. It’s right by a beautiful, clean sea and the accommodation was lovely and very clean. The beach bar serves nice snacks and cocktails, and you can ring a bell at the umbrella by the deckchairs to call someone over to help. The staff were pleasant, and there was modern music on the beach. The airport is only 2 km away, but the planes didn’t disturb us. They fly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and it was nice to watch them. Pythagorion, a pretty town with lovely surroundings, is a 30-minute walk away. An expert delegate from travel agency Alexandria suggested beautiful places, so we rented cheap cars for two days from rentals Kiklos, in a city pedestrian zone.

The accommodation is all new and very clean, and the beach is less than 20 meters away. There’s a classy beach bar there with affordable prices. We’re staying at Nikos Studios Potokaki now and having a great time. The staff are very polite and show the Greek hospitality people on this island are known for. We highly recommend staying here.

The best way to get to supermarkets and other places is by rented car or bike, as it’s a bit far on foot. The aparthotel was very nice and fresh in Aug 2013, with everything we needed except a hairdryer. The free high speed Wi-Fi was great. Just note that air conditioning costs 9 EUR per day. We didn’t need it.
