Batis Aero Beachfront Wellbeing Hotel

Those two receptionists deserve a special thank you. They were so helpful and their kindness made our days. Everything else at Batis Beach Hotel was just as good, from the tidy rooms and attentive service to its spot by the beach. Having a separate stretch of beach in Rethymno felt like a real privilege, and it made our stay so much better. If we come back to Rethymno, Batis will be our first choice.

Our side sea view room was just what we wanted, and breakfast each morning on the roof terrace was a treat. The set menu changed daily. The receptionist gave us several handwritten pages of local tips when we arrived, and every recommendation was great. Batis Beach is ideally placed, with the beach right across the street. We stayed seven days and could easily have spent another week enjoying the area and the service.

We found places to park around the hotel, so the car wasn't a worry. The staff were kind, and Irini gave us lots of information about sightseeing and other things to do. I stayed for a week's holiday with my two teenagers. Our room was large and clean, breakfast was very good and served at a table on the roof with a spectacular sea view, and the pool was just the right size. We also appreciated being able to use the pool after checkout and shower before leaving. Highly recommended!

It's about a 20-minute walk to the old town, but everything else was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful, always greeting us with a smile. Our room stayed very clean, and the air conditioning worked well. I'd stay here again.
