The pool was clean and spacious, with a beautifully maintained area that was great for relaxing. It was lovely for a morning swim or a peaceful afternoon in the sun. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. Eva, the owner, was kind, helpful, and always smiling, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Georgia and the rest of the staff were just as fantastic, professional, friendly, and attentive. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere peaceful and inviting. Thank you, Eva, Georgia, and the whole team for an unforgettable experience!

The comfortable bed, amazing ocean view from our balcony, and diverse, fantastic breakfast all helped us feel in harmony with Crete’s beauty. During our three-day stay, Eva, the owner, and the whole staff were friendly, polite, welcoming, and fantastic. They made every moment special. I’ve stayed at a few hotels around the world, but none made me feel as peaceful or as surrounded by good people as Filoxenia did. Congratulations on the amazing hotel and for making us feel like we were among friends.

I really liked the pool because the building keeps it shaded, which suited me since I don’t like sitting in the sun. The patio at the back is only a few steps from the sandy beach. Breakfast has a very good range of goodies, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Eva and her father are super friendly hosts. They always find a way to start a conversation and make sure guests are having a pleasant stay. I’d happily recommend this place to a friend!

A quirky little beauty of a hotel, with three levels of complimentary sunbeds by a sandy, safe beach. It’s right on the beach, and the people are really friendly. The road outside can be a bit of a challenge for pedestrians since it’s a major east-west link through Rethymnon, but once inside, it’s a very nice place.

We loved this small hotel. The rooms are a little small, but the view and the cleanliness made up for that. Breakfast was really good and had everything we needed, and the polite owners made us feel at home.
