We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, thanks to how kind and helpful everyone was. Mardinik is well placed for the beach, with an easy walk into the old town. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy, and it had everything we needed. I'd happily recommend staying here.

Maria and her parents were such welcoming hosts. They shared lots of ideas for restaurants and things to do, and Maria’s mother even made delicious cakes on some days. They really added something special to our holiday. Our one-bedroom apartment was modern, spotless and spacious, with two balconies, comfortable beds, plenty of storage and a large living area. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans we needed to cook a proper meal. It's on a quiet street, about a two-minute walk from the beachfront and many restaurants, and around 15 minutes on foot from the old town. We'd love to come back and will recommend Mardinik to friends and family.

Maria and her family were lovely, always smiling, kind and full of positive energy. Maria gave us helpful tips on places to visit, car rentals, excursions, and beach clubs with well-priced sunbeds. The staff were warm and friendly, always asking how we were and offering help. We stayed for 12 days in an apartment with a bedroom and living room. It was spotless, modern and just like the photos. It was cleaned daily, everything was carefully arranged, and we had no problems during the stay. The beach is a four-minute walk away, and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. Parking is available in the area, though it is usually full. We got lucky and found a spot. We had a wonderful time and have already put this hotel on our list to return to. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

It's quiet here, but only a few minutes on foot from the beach and about 15 minutes from the old town. Our superior room was spacious, had great facilities and a fantastic big balcony. Everything was very clean, and the lovely family running Mardinik were friendly and helpful. We hope to come back soon.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. The apartments are spacious and well equipped, most have balconies, and there's a lift, which was a bonus on the third floor. It's close to Rethymo beach and the promenade, with shops nearby and the old town about 10-15 minutes away. A great family-run place, highly recommended.
