The courtyard has a lovely intimate, romantic feel, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We stayed in Room 5, which was clean, cozy, and just the right size for a couple. Maria welcomed us at check-in, showed us around, and made sure a golf cart would be ready to help with our bags when we left. Even before we arrived, Nikos, the owner, got in touch with directions for getting around inside the castle and arranged for someone to meet us with a golf cart for our luggage. That was such a thoughtful touch. Nikos and the whole staff were incredibly kind throughout. Their hospitality and all the little gestures made our stay special. I'd definitely recommend it!

The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well equipped, and breakfast in the inviting courtyard added a lot to the atmosphere. The owner and staff were incredibly hospitable. There was one hiccup on our first night out: a guest had apparently locked the private entrance from inside, so when we got back from Rhodes we couldn't get in. We called the owner, who had to walk over from her house, and about ten minutes later she arrived with the maintenance person and they opened the door. She was kind and kept us company while we waited. To make up for the brief inconvenience, she also brought extra towels and amenities, along with a great bottle of wine. The entrance is closed after staff leave, but guests get a key for after-hours access. I'd highly recommend this boutique hotel in the old town.

Maria looked after us so well, and we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is a quiet, tucked-away oasis on a little back street, yet some of Rhodes' best restaurants and bars are only minutes away. It's right in the heart of the old town. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in Rhodes, and would recommend it to other travellers.

Our room had its own air conditioner and a private outdoor seating area, and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious each morning. The staff were wonderful, going out of their way to help with transfers and even our lost luggage problem. S. Nikolis Historic Boutique Hotel, their sister property, also gave us excellent support. It's a beautiful, welcoming place with a feel somewhere between an apartment and a guest house.
