The rooms looked nothing like the photos, and the staff were only nice up until checkout. They also made us leave earlier than the stated checkout time. After that, they caused problems over where we could sit and had all these rules about not letting us keep our luggage with us on their terrace. Their payment machine didn’t work, so they made me withdraw cash from an ATM that charged us 5 euros. They didn’t offer a coffee or any kind of reimbursement. I’d suggest looking into another hotel. Sorry.

I’ve been coming to Rhodos since I was a child, and this is one of the warmest welcomes I’ve had. The staff are so polite and friendly, and it’s lovely chatting with the regular guests too. It feels like being part of a family. Such a calm, caring place, especially for the price. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were great, the manager was excellent, the location was good, and they cleaned our room every morning. The only two problems were breakfast and check-in. We arrived at 7 a.m. after a night flight, but check-in wasn’t until 3 p.m. Breakfast had no vegetarian choices, fruit, or vegetables.

The reception and bar staff were very kind and helpful. After checkout, though, the director wouldn’t let us leave our luggage in the lobby while we waited to depart, even though I saw other guests’ bags there. It left me wondering if he was being unfairly prejudiced.

Breakfast was so poor that I’d rather they didn’t serve it. The choices were scrambled eggs, hot dogs, bacon, some sort of ham, and cheese. If there were boiled eggs, you could only have two per person. The rooms are tiny, with barely enough room for two people and their suitcases, and the bathroom is dated. Everything, towels included, smelled moldy. Air conditioning costs another €65 for seven days. It was noisy and uncomfortable. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.
