The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel, with lots of delicious options. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. Cleaning was good overall, but it took a very long time: we were out all morning until 3 pm, and my family’s room still hadn’t been cleaned when we returned. The rooms have a mini fridge with water, coffee, and tea. I stayed at Arte Hotel for just three days in September. I can’t say I was satisfied, but I wasn’t displeased either. From what I understood, the hotel had been renovated, with good-looking new rooms upstairs and old ones on the lower floors. We arrived late at night and found out my room hadn’t been reserved, so they upgraded us to a nicer room on an upper floor. It was beautiful and clean, with towels, bathrobes, slippers, dental and shaving kits, and a nice view, although the old building in front of the hotel completely ruined it. My family members were in the lower floors, in a very old room that looked nothing like ours, almost like a different hotel. Their door wouldn’t close. The cleaning lady had to show us a trick, but they should fix it instead of requiring tricks to shut it. Because my room had been upgraded after the reservation problem, a family member and I were moved the next day to one of the older rooms. We were there for only two nights, and making us change rooms for just one night felt so unnecessary. The least they could have done was let us keep the nicer room for those two nights after their reservation mix-up. The older rooms desperately need renovation, including the old showers, air conditioners, and hair dryers. The corridors were confusing too, and need signs pointing to the elevators. The TVs are overcomplicated, and I don’t think there’s a volume button on the remote. You can only mute and unmute, so you have to watch at one fixed volume. WiFi was free, but the connection wasn’t great in some rooms. My opinion is neutral. We weren’t there long or spending much time in the hotel, and the stay could have been better without those problems. Still, it wasn’t bad, and I’d give them another chance if I visited Rhodes again.

Angela at the front desk was especially lovely, and the location was really good. The mattress was made up of two singles, so I didn’t sleep very well. Breakfast could have used a bit more fresh fruit. It was a decent stay, and I’d spend a few more days there.

The front desk staff were very kind, but the rest of the stay left a bad impression. We paid for breakfast and tried it on the first day, then never went back because the quality was terrible. Our room also wasn't cleaned daily, and they didn't replenish the toilet paper, so we had to buy our own. It stayed too hot in the room, with no way to turn the temperature down as far as we wanted. There was only a bed to sit on, too, with no second chair. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The beds were clean, which was about the only good thing about our week here. The floors never seemed properly cleaned. Housekeeping just mopped without sweeping or vacuuming, and the towels were so thin and worn that you'd want to bring your own. Reception were friendly, but when we had problems, nothing got resolved. The air conditioning broke three or four times in Rhodes heat and humidity, and we couldn't sleep or enjoy the holiday. Meals were disappointing too. Night after night it was pasta, chicken, or pork, with hardly any variety or Greek flavor. The fruit didn't seem fresh, the desserts were stale, and even the baklava was soggy and lifeless. For a four-star hotel, this felt like a complete waste of money. We'd worked hard for a week's rest and expected more comfort. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're hoping for an authentic Greek island stay. Book somewhere else.

Even after we were moved from the first room to a supposedly better one, it was still very uncomfortable. There was no towel rack, the safe and phone didn't work, and the air conditioning had problems. The mattress was awful, and we only got cold water in the shower. The food was very average, though the staff were nice.
