Elite Hotel

The friendly, helpful staff made the stay enjoyable, and breakfast had plenty of good options. The bed was very comfortable, too. The hotel is right by Elli Beach, which is a fantastic location. Everything was spotless. The standard room bathroom showed a little wear, while the executive room was in better shape, perhaps typical of older Greek hotels. One thing to know if you're a light sleeper: the small minibar fridge was a bit noisy at night.

The thin walls were the main drawback. We could hear our neighbor's keyboard clicking, so that gives you an idea, and the bathroom was small. Still, it's a really nice option if you're on a budget and want to stay near the beach. Our room was clean, roomy enough, and had a balcony with a great view. We loved the breakfast, everyone was super nice, and the location was great, very close to Elli Beach.

The one real plus is how close it is to the beach. Otherwise, I'd avoid this hotel. It may be a two-star place, but not four. The rooms are small, with nowhere for suitcases and too little wardrobe space. The bathroom and toilet are extremely cramped, you keep bumping into the walls, and walking past the bed means hitting the TV with your shoulder. The balconies are tight, and the air conditioning blows hot air onto you. TV channels are Greek and don't always work; the internet is slow, so you end up waiting and waiting. Most breakfast items seemed industrial, thawed and then reheated or baked, and the juices weren't natural. At reception they don't seem to understand your problem, but they are ready to take your tax money right away. Even if you're exhausted from traveling and ask to pay the next morning, they won't wait.

The stay was great value, with very reasonable prices and excellent service. We especially liked the hotel's location near the coast.
