Gennadi Grand Resort

We left Gennadi Grand Resort feeling relaxed and impressed by the care we received. The team made us feel welcome right from check-in, and throughout the stay everyone was attentive. Restaurant staff remembered what we liked, the concierge offered thoughtful recommendations, and housekeeping kept everything spotless. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The peaceful setting is beautiful, with modern, elegant design and well-kept grounds. The pools and beach were immaculate, and there was a varied selection of tasty food. The people are what really set the resort apart. It was one of our best holidays, and we can’t wait to return to Rhodes. Highly recommended for comfort, luxury, and warm service.

Astronomy Night with Stratos was the highlight of our stay. Definitely check it out! We also loved having a private pool for a morning dip, then spending the day at the main pool and finishing by the beach, just a short walk away. The food was delicious, the staff were excellent, and the spa massage was really relaxing.

Fanni at reception deserves a special thank you. She welcomed us so warmly, stayed attentive throughout our visit, and went out of her way to help us with whatever we needed. The resort has several lovely outdoor pools, each with its own feel, and the pool service was great. Food and drinks came right to our sunbeds, so it was easy to relax. The spa was another treat, especially the heated indoor pool on cooler days. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and quick to handle our requests. We had a wonderful stay at Gennadi Resort and would happily come back for another relaxing getaway in Rhodes.

The warm welcome was a lovely start. Staff brought us drinks, asked about our trip, and gave us a chance to sit and relax while they sorted things out. On our final evening, a bottle of white wine, fresh fruit, and a handwritten note were waiting in the room. That gesture really touched us. The resort is large, with distinct sections and outdoor pools for different ages. The main pool usually had good music and a DJ, while the private beach was quiet and had a stunning view. We booked a spa day and loved the 50-minute massage. The manager was kind and funny, and access to the indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, and hot tub was included that day. A few things to know: prices are on the high side, and although the food looked beautiful, the flavors weren't always great. You can see the team puts real effort into it. Our room was in the 5000+ area, so reaching the pools, beach, gym, or reception meant about a 10-minute walk each way. The hotel is in a village with nothing there besides the hotel. The gym is modest in size but clean and modern, with what you need for a quick workout. It’s a peaceful, elegant place with staff who care about your stay. A lovely spot to relax and recharge in Rhodes.
